Don’t Toss That Bottle! Turn It Into Something Beautiful

Have you ever finished a bottle of your favorite Tastefully Simple product and thought, “This is way too pretty to throw away”?

Me too! 😂

So before you toss that empty bottle into the recycling bin, save it! With a little baking soda and a little patience, you can remove the label and give that bottle a whole new life.

I recently tried this with one of my empty bottles, and I wanted to share the super-simple trick with you.

Here’s what you need:

An empty bottle
Warm water
Baking soda
A container large enough to completely submerge the bottle
24 hours of patience 😉

The easy method

Add baking soda to warm water and place your empty bottle in the solution, making sure the bottle and label are fully submerged.

Then…walk away!
Let it soak for about 24 hours.

When you come back, the label should be ready to loosen and peel away. Give the bottle a good rinse and clean it thoroughly.

And just like that…
You have a beautiful little bottle ready for something new!

So what can you do with your “new” bottle?

This is where I think it gets fun!

Once the label is gone, these little bottles can become part of your kitchen or home décor. Think:

🌿 A tiny vase for flowers or greenery
🥄 A decorative bottle for your kitchen
🌸 A pretty centerpiece accent
🎀 A container for a little seasonal display
🏡 A cute addition to a farmhouse or rustic vignette
🎁 A starting point for a handmade gift

And honestly, sometimes the simplest little things make the cutest decorations.

One more reason I love this…

You bought the product because you loved what was inside the bottle.
But that doesn’t mean the bottle has to be finished when the product is gone.

I love finding little ways to make the things we already have work a little harder—and this one is about as simple as it gets.

So next time you finish a bottle, don’t toss it just yet. Save it.
