🌶️ LET ME INTRODUCE YOU TO

CHILI À LA AMY

The dinner that solves the “What are we having tonight?” problem.

There are nights when you want to make dinner.

And then there are nights when figuring out WHAT to make for dinner feels like the biggest job of the day.

You open the refrigerator. Close it. Open it again like something new might magically appear.

I know those nights.

That’s why I love a dinner like Chili à la Amy.

It’s hearty, cozy, forgiving and incredibly easy. No complicated chopping. No long list of ingredients. No standing over the stove all afternoon.

Just open, dump, stir and simmer.

And then I decided to make it a little more fun with warm Bountiful Beer Bread and a Hot Honey Butter Candle.

Because apparently I can’t leave well enough alone. 😂

This is Dinner à la Amy.

Simple food.

A full table.

Real connection.

And absolutely no requirement that dinner be perfect.

🌶️ CHILI À LA AMY

The easiest 8-can soup you’ll ever make.

This is the recipe I want in my back pocket when I need dinner solved without making dinner a whole production.

You’ll need:

  • 1 lb. ground meat
  • 1 can chili with beans
  • 1 can chili without beans
  • 1 can vegetable soup
  • 1 can mixed vegetables, undrained
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 can corn, undrained
  • 1 jar Tastefully Simple Corn & Black Bean Salsa
  • 2 Tbsp. Wahoo! Chili Seasoning (or a heaping capful)

Let’s make dinner.

Brown the ground meat and drain if needed.

Add all of the remaining ingredients to a crock pot.

Give everything a good stir.

Bring it to a simmer and let those flavors come together.

That’s it.

No complicated steps. No fussy ingredients. Just a big pot of cozy chili that makes dinner happen.

Eight canned ingredients + a little meat + seasoning = dinner solved.

🍞 NOW LET’S TALK ABOUT THE BREAD

Because chili without something good to dip into it?

No thank you.

We’re making Bountiful Beer Bread Cornbread.

It’s one of those little Dinner à la Amy tricks that makes dinner feel special without making dinner harder.

BOUNTIFUL BEER BREAD CORNBREAD

You’ll need:

  • Bountiful Beer Bread Mix
  • Creamed corn
  • ⅓ cup oil
  • 3 Tbsp. melted butter

Mix it together and bake at 350°F for 50–55 minutes.

And then comes the fun part.

🧈 WAIT… IS THAT A CANDLE?

Yes. 😂

It is.

It’s a Hot Honey Butter Candle.

And it might be my favorite part of this entire dinner.

Warm Beer Bread.

Melty butter.

A little Hot Honey.

A tiny flame flickering right there on the table.

Tell me that doesn’t make dinner more fun.

And here’s the best part:

You don’t have to be crafty.

You don’t need special skills.

You don’t need to be a Pinterest person.

You just need a few simple ingredients and a willingness to try something new.

🔥 HOT HONEY BUTTER CANDLE

Because apparently butter needed a glow-up.

Take softened butter and mix in your Hot Honey Seasoning.

Mold the butter into your candle vessel.

Add your edible wick.

Chill until firm.

Then bring it to the table, light it, and let that buttery goodness slowly melt into your warm Beer Bread.

MIX • MOLD • ENJOY.

That’s it.

And suddenly something as simple as bread and butter becomes the thing everybody is talking about.

❤️ THIS IS WHY I LOVE GATHERING AROUND THE TABLE

Because dinner doesn’t have to be elaborate to be memorable.

Sometimes it’s a pot of chili.

Sometimes it’s a loaf of Beer Bread.

Sometimes it’s a ridiculous little butter candle in the middle of the table.

And sometimes the best part isn’t even the food.

It’s everybody reaching for another piece of bread.

It’s somebody saying, “Wait. You made that?”

It’s laughing.

It’s lingering.

It’s staying at the table five minutes longer than you planned.

That’s the good stuff.

🕯️ WANT TO MAKE A BUTTER CANDLE WITH ME?

This is exactly why I created my Dinner à la Amy Butter Candle Workshops.

They’re hands-on, they’re fun, and you don’t have to know what you’re doing when you walk through the door.

I’ll teach you.

We MIX. MOLD. ENJOY.

Whether you’re looking for a girls’ night, a fun activity with friends, or simply an excuse to do something different, come make a butter candle with me.

No perfection required.

Just come ready to have some fun.

🌶️ DINNER SOLVED.

And that’s really what Dinner à la Amy is about.

I’m not trying to convince you that you need to become a gourmet chef.

I’m trying to make Tuesday night easier.

I’m trying to give you one less dinner decision to make.

I’m trying to give you food that makes people want to sit down together.

Because simple food can still feel special.

And dinner doesn’t have to be perfect to be worth gathering around.

Connection, not perfection.

That’s Dinner à la Amy.
